Accessibility statement How the site is built, its known limits, and how to report a barrier
Forma Pauperis is intended to be usable with a keyboard, screen magnification, color preferences, and assistive technology. Accessibility is ongoing work, not a certification.
What the public pages support
- A skip link and visible keyboard focus.
- Semantic headings, links, lists, and native disclosure controls.
- Layouts that reflow for narrow screens and enlarged text.
- Light and dark color schemes with text contrast checked in both.
- Core public information that works without JavaScript.
Standard and testing
The site aims to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines, WCAG 2.2 Level AA. Automated checks and keyboard review are useful, but they do not prove that every person can complete every task.
Pages are tested for descriptive titles, a working skip link, keyboard-visible focus, internal-link integrity, document structure, and readable light- and dark-mode colors.
Known limits
Official court forms, linked government pages, and other outside websites are controlled by their publishers and may have accessibility barriers that Forma Pauperis cannot repair.
Long court rules and court-produced PDF documents can be difficult to navigate. The site supplies a reading view for court rules where source material permits, but the official publication controls.
Report a barrier or request another format
Email contact@formapauperis.com. Include the page address, what you were trying to do, and what stopped you. Browser, device, or assistive-technology details are helpful but optional.
Do not email completed court forms, Social Security numbers, financial records, or sensitive case documents. A barrier report does not need that information.
