What Forma Pauperis provides

Forma Pauperis provides free public legal information, links to official sources, and software that puts your answers into court-form documents. No account is required and there is no charge to use the service.

Legal information, not legal advice

The site and guided forms provide legal information and document-preparation help, not legal advice or representation. They do not tell you which claim to bring, what facts to state, how the law applies to you, or what result a court will reach. Using the service does not create an attorney–client relationship.

Forma Pauperis is an independent public-service project. It is not a court, law firm, government agency, or part of or endorsed by the New Jersey Judiciary.

Check before you act

Court forms, rules, fees, filing instructions, and deadlines can change. Before relying on this site or filing a document, compare it with the current official source at njcourts.gov and confirm any question with the appropriate court or a qualified lawyer.

You are responsible for reviewing every completed document and deciding whether it is accurate and appropriate for your situation.

The service does not file for you

Forma Pauperis does not file, serve, or submit documents, track court deadlines, monitor your case, or communicate with a court on your behalf. Downloading a document from the service does not deliver it to anyone.

Accuracy and availability

The project works to keep information, links, and forms current, but errors, omissions, broken links, and interruptions can occur. The service is provided as available and may be corrected, changed, suspended, or discontinued.

No website can promise that a court will accept a document or grant a request. If a conflict exists, the current court rule, official form, and court instruction control.

Proper use

Use the service only for lawful purposes. Do not try to disrupt it, introduce malicious code, bypass security controls, access another person’s session, or use automated traffic that prevents other people from using it.

Other websites and official forms

The site links to courts and other organizations that control their own content, terms, and privacy practices. A link does not make Forma Pauperis responsible for that outside service.

Official court forms and government publications remain the work of their issuing bodies. Other original site content may not be copied in a way that falsely suggests court or government approval.

Privacy, changes, and contact

The privacy policy explains how the public site, guided forms, and contact email handle information. Continued use after a posted change means the updated terms apply from their stated effective date.
